Policies

  1. Code of Conduct

We're adults who enjoy each other's company, so play to win, be decent, own your mistakes and leave the drama at the door.

    • We're here first and foremost to complete content and have fun. Remember that at all times!
    • All members are equal, and everyone's opinion is welcome.
    • No drama, no egos, no blame games; give feedback to help people improve.
    • No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism or other discrimination, harassment, bullying or threats.
    • Play fair: no cheating of any kind.
    • Breaches lead to a word, then a warning, then removal from the roster or guild, though serious ones can skip steps.
  2. Membership

We're here to complete PvE content, so most members are raiders, with a few places for friends of raiders.

    • Raiders are the priority; casual and friend places are very limited.
    • Friends are welcome to contribute outside raids, but it isn't required.
    • New raiders start with a short trial before being confirmed. This trial will usually last 1-2 weeks worth of raids and we will give you feedback along the way.
    • We do not have any age restrictions, but we expect all members to behave in line with our code of conduct.
  3. Roster and Bench

We keep the bench as small as we can while making sure a raid can always go ahead.

    • Bench size will be based on the main raiders' attendance, so nobody sits out more than necessary.
    • Come fully prepared with all necessary gear and items - this is not optional. You may be asked to sit out if you turn up to a raid unprepared.
    • Attendance for raids must be registered in our tools, whether you are turning up or not, so that we can plan appropriately. Life happens, so just tell us in good time if you can't make it.
  4. Alts

Alts are welcome, and they give the roster depth.

    • Raiders are expected to maintain a geared alt to the best of their ability. The guild will help ensure this is done by giving alts spots in raids where possible or otherwise providing gear.
    • Alts are welcome in the guild, and will be clearly identified as alts.
  5. Loot

Items go where they help the guild progress most, and we make sure everyone's contribution is valued fairly.

    • Progression comes first.
    • Officers and the raid leader decide as a council where loot will go to best effect, based on a combination of player attendance and effectiveness. If you turn up every week and play well, you will get loot.
    • Loot award discussions are not a taboo subject. If you ever feel loot has been awarded unfairly, bring it up with an officer.
  6. Complaints and Disputes

We aim for a drama-free guild, but if tensions run high, take it to an officer and they'll sort it out.

    • All complaints and disputes go to an officer, who resolves them.
    • Raise it privately rather than in raid or public chat.
    • Complaints about an officer go to the guild leader.
